Preschool Learning Alliance

In order to ensure we offer the best support to children and parents we are members of the Preschool Learning Alliance who are a leading educational charity specialising in the early years. They provide practical support to early years settings.  Their products and services include specialist publications, childcare services, quality assurance, campaigning, research, training and family programmes. They also offer a range of independent professional information, advice, support and guidance tailored especially to meet the needs of young children and their families, students, early years practitioners and professionals.  For more information please refer to their website:

POLICIES and ARTICLES

The pre-school's policies help us to make sure that the service provided by the pre-school is a high quality one. Copies of the pre-school's policies are on the notice board and are available on request. Our Articles of association form the basis of our constitution and defines the structure and how we operate and manage 345.

Please see the attachments below for both documents.

SPECIAL NEEDS

As part of the preschool's policy to make sure that its provision meets the needs of each individual child, we take account of any special needs which a child may have. The preschool works to the requirements of the 1993 Education Act and The Special Educational Needs Code of Practice (2000). Each of our pre-schools has a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.
